Academy Day and Attendance
The Academy provides at least 32.5 hrs of education for all students each week.
Years 7, 8 and 9:
Start time 8:45am
Finish time 3.20pm
Years 10 and 11:
Start time 8:30am
Finish time 3:00pm

After School Activities
At the end of each day, we will be offering a range of new and exciting clubs for all students to attend.
With the earlier finish times, we would like all students to attend at least one extra-curricular club to support them and develop their skills and interests further. We hope that with the diverse range of clubs on offer, your child will be able to find something that they like.
Your child simply needs to sign up to the club with the member of staff who is running it.

Attendance
Attendance in our academy is monitored and causes for concern are discussed with the school attendance improvement advisor on a weekly basis. Academies will always try to resolve attendance issues initially with young people and/or their parents, however there are occasions when more intensive work is requested and we will work very closely as an academy to improve overall attendance and future life chances for our academy community.
